A poster I made to help myself learn these off by heart. MBTI really interests me and I’d love to get to know how the different types interact! I’m still learning about this so please correct me if any are wrong. And clearly, these are MASSIVELY watered-down generalizations of the real thing so by no means am I saying that this goes for everyone!
You can print this off and use it as well if, like me, you want to learn them off by heart! if anyone feels like discussing these I’d love to chat about it. Like I said, this really interests me!
Introversion: sometimes likes the idea of something better than the real thing. comfortable on their own. reflects on life and moves into new actions slowly. thinks before acting.
Extroversion: learns by talking or interacting with others. a “people person”. acts before thinking.
Sensing: concerned with what is real and present. learns by “doing”. trusts facts and experiences. focuses on the basic meaning and the details of what they can see.
INtuition: interested in new ideas. pays attention to the impression they get. reads between the lines and trusts symbols and metaphors.
Feeling: more likely to act if they know (if there are) special circumstances. very tactful. chooses heart over head.
Thinking: enjoys logic, science and maths. wants it to be fair - no special circumstances. will choose head over heart.
Judging: prefers to be planned and organised. likes to make lists. gets work done before playing.
Perceiving*: spontaneous, flexible and stays open to respond to whatever happens. adapts to the world rather than organizing it. stays open to new experiences/information.
*note that in MBTI, “perceiving” means taking in information rather than being a perceptive person.
